Thinking of transitioning your cats - but not there yet?

If anyone here is considering a vegan diet for their cat friends, but isn't there yet, please feel free to ask the rest of us questions you might have! What are your concerns? Maybe we can help folks with this decision.

Finally found one that works! Ami Cat dry food. They eat it right up. Now I know I need to be careful with dry food and water. I'm planning on slowly working it in to reduce their meat food (which is bascially all seafood and I try to keep it low on the food chain like sardines, crab, mackeral and shrimp). Not sure that i'll risk going 100% vegan since I have two male kitties (and two female).

Yay, so glad they like it! Our kitties liked that one, too. You can moisten the food with water to make it less dry - when we give kibble, we mix it up with a little nutritional yeast and sometimes a little bit of flax oil, and some water. The cats seem to like it and it's a bit healthier.
