Vegan Cats

Hey, I am a little confused. Vegecat is normally cited as one of the best cat foods, its cheap and fresh, although non too convenient. Well I am scratching my head at the cheap part.
It seems like we are supposed to buy, vegeyeast, vegePH AND vegecat? That is about 28 dollars, is that cheap for cat food? Furthermore you need more for actually making the recipe, oil, legumes, ect, I'd say that shoots it up to around 38 dollars..

I did not say a thing about being "inconvenienced" that is just how it is characterized. I was just was wondering what made it so "cheap". I home make diets for my animals since most mainstream food is crapola. That is interesting about supplements. Are the supplements supposed to be the vegecat and vegeyeast? Because the websites I have read never suggested anything other then enzymes.
