Our kitties are, unfortunately, still on a meat diet. We wanted to get them onto veggie food again but Snow and Zora's gingivitis continues to be a major issue, and while we work through that we don't want to be bugging them with diet changes.

Our non-vegan food trial continues - here's an overdue update! We've decided to extend the trial to 60 days - we hit the 30-day mark and it was pretty clear that 30 days wasn't really long enough to see what effect the diet change was having. An activist I know sent me this link: Is it ok to feed my cat table scraps? The author writes, "cats are carnivores, they need meat to survive and be healthy. A cat's digestive system is different than that of humans and other omnivores.
